 Cornucopia is a food and drink event ....Based on the success of 'Good Food Friday' held at the Corn Exchange in April 2011 Nick Julian of Primo's felt there was potential to turn the event in to a regular feature of the Leeds Social Calender. In order to grow the event Nick enlisted the help of Shelf Life, both the Corn Exchange management and the team at Anthony's were supportive of this move and shortly after an initial meeting Cornucopia was launched. We held our first event in October, followed by a 3 day event in December and a one day in February, the event is gaining a superb following in Leeds and we are keen to develop further strategic partnerships. Was launched in January 2011 by Nick Copland and Rebecca Roberts. Nick has worked with many of the big names in both food production and retail whereas Rebecca's experience is with the rural economy and primary producers. Their first joint project was to increase footfall in to Leeds Kirkgate Market and they have achieved this through The Source a specialist stall dedicated to the promotion of great food. They are currently working with a number of food business in the region and are delighted to have been asked to manage this exciting event. Yelp is a review website where you can read and write reviews about the best in local business, post reviews of your favourite places to eat, shop, drink, go for a day out and just about everything else! As well as reviews, the site also has Talk boards, where you can chat with other folk, and an Events section where anyone can post an upcoming gig, fashion event, beer festival and more. Since there’s always something going on in the city, check it out to keep up to date with what’s going on! We also have a fantastic app...
